What Happens on Sunday?
Our gathering centres on worshipping God, listening to His Word and encouraging one another as a church family. You are welcome to join us even if you are unfamiliar with our practices.
Congregational Singing
We sing together as a congregation in worship and thanksgiving.
Prayer
We bring praise, thanksgiving and needs before God.
Breaking of Bread
We remember Jesus Christ through the Lord’s Supper.
Offerings
Regular worshippers have an opportunity to give as part of their worship.
Public Bible Reading
Passages of Scripture are read aloud for everyone to hear.
Bible Preaching & Teaching
We listen to and learn from God’s Word so that we can follow Christ.
Announcements & Closing Prayer
We share church-family matters and conclude with prayer or a blessing.
PART OF OUR WORSHIP
The Breaking of Bread
Each week we normally share the Breaking of Bread (also called the Lord’s Supper or Communion). As followers of Jesus, we remember His death for us, give thanks and look forward to His return.
At SACC, participation in the Breaking of Bread is for baptised believers. If you are visiting and not participating, you are very welcome to remain with us and observe.
New to Communion?
There is no need to feel uncomfortable. You may simply observe. If you would like to understand the meaning of the Breaking of Bread, we would be glad to explain it.
FOR FIRST-TIME VISITORS
What About Offerings?
Giving is part of our worship as we respond to God’s generosity. However, visitors are not expected or pressured to give. You are welcome to be with us without making a contribution.
We believe Christian giving should be willing, thankful and from the heart.
FAMILIES ARE WELCOME
Children & Young People
We value children, young people and families, and we want younger generations to grow in faith, character and healthy relationships.
Arrangements for children and youth activities may vary. If you are coming with children, please contact us beforehand so we can tell you what is currently available.

We have a reserved parking for visitors at the front of the church. You can remove the cone and park at the lot.

After the Gathering
Church is more than a Sunday meeting. After worship, you are welcome to stay for a conversation, meet some of our people, and ask any questions you may have.
When refreshments are available, you are welcome to join us. There is no obligation to stay, but we would be glad to get to know you.
